Cecilia Fernandez, AyurYoga therapist and Ayurveda Practitioner will be sharing how Yoga is a sister science to Ayurveda. When utilized for supporting one’s constitution and season can bring us more deeply into how we approach not only our asana practice but the deeper layers of our yogic spiritual practices.

Misia Denéa Iyengar Yoga teacher is partnering with East Bay Ayurveda to take us through a sequence of asana poses with emphasis on stimulating warmth and movement to create space and reduce stagnation. To feel a sense of lightness clarity and circulation.

A light Kitchari lunch will be provided after and before the second portion of our day.

Coupled with this yoga class, Amita Basra Ayurveda Practitioner, RN who is also now one of our ayurveda tandem therapists, as well as teachers within our Ayurveda Foundations series, along with Cecilia Fernandez will be teaching a Dinacharya class. “Din” literally means “day” and you will learn the importance of daily health routine how to perform self care practices to keep yourself in balance.
