You can experience the benefits of this daily self-care practice at home.
In a warmed bathroom, with a towel beneath you, place oil in a small bowl, and place inside a larger bowl of hot water. After the oil is warmed in the hot water bath, apply oil onto the body, with a lot of love.
Start with your arms and legs, with long strokes, then round strokes around the joints.
Move to your side body and under arm area, using long strokes, then round strokes around hips and under the arm. Finish with the abdomen and chest.
Take your time, and massage into the areas that call to you. After the oil feels that it has penetrated well. Start a warm shower, rinse your body with warm water, massaging the oil and water together to create a saponifying effect and cleansing the skin. Herbs may be recommended to use as a scrub and and soap can be used in essential places. Pat dry after to remove all moisture.
