About

Cecilia Fernandez is an Ayurvedic practitioner devoted to guiding individuals back into a relationship with their own natural rhythms. Through traditional Ayurvedic therapies, personalized consultations, and daily care practices, her work supports balance in the body, clarity in the mind, and a deeper sense of grounded well-being.

Her approach is both practical and intuitive, meeting each person where they are, while offering a clear pathway toward sustainable care. Cecilia specializes in Abhyanga, Shirodhara, and restorative body therapies, as well as ongoing lifestyle and dietary guidance rooted in the principles of Ayurveda.

Training & Background

Cecilia has been a dedicated student of Ayurveda since 2003. She completed an extensive five-year program at the Ayurvedic Institute, where she studied classical Ayurvedic theory, herbal formulations, Panchakarma, and AyurYoga therapy. She has also completed practitioner training and Panchakarma technician programs with Kerala Ayurveda, deepening her hands-on clinical experience over nearly two decades of practice.

In addition to her clinical work, Cecilia has contributed to the development of Panchakarma and therapy programs at the Dhyanyoga Center and Dhyanidham Ashram, supporting both program development and therapist training. She continues to guide clients through in-person care and post-treatment integration, ensuring that the benefits of each session are carried into daily life.

Community & Service

Cecilia's work extends beyond private practice into nonprofit organizations and community spaces, where she shares Ayurvedic practices with leaders, organizers, and those engaged in service. She supports nonprofit teams, including the staff at the Center for Independent Living, offering therapies and consultations that nurture mental health, resilience, and long-term vitality.

At the heart of this practice is a simple intention:

To make Ayurveda accessible, deeply nourishing, and woven into everyday life.
