Cecilia, the founder of East Bay Ayurveda, has been a passionate advocate and student of Ayurveda since 2003. Her vision is to introduce Ayurveda to her local community, empowering individuals to self-heal through compassionate self-care.
In 2004, Cecilia committed to a full-time program at the Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico for five years, where she acquired a wealth of experience and certifications in various disciplines, including herbal formulations, panchakarma, and ayuryoga therapy. She also obtained her Neuromuscular massage therapy certification from the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA to be able to understand medical massage and work with various conditions.
Since 2009, Cecilia has been offering holistic Ayurveda therapies to the East Bay community, aiding people at different stages of their wellness journeys. She offers personalized single-day and multi-day cleansing and rejuvenation therapies aligned with individual health objectives. Her expertise extends to developing Ayurveda therapy programs for the Dhyanyoga Center and the Dhyanidham Ashram in Nikora, India. Additionally, she has had the privilege of training other Ayurveda therapists and devising therapy protocols for private groups both locally and internationally.
Cecilia is an active student at Kerala Ayurveda in the South Bay and India, aiming to complete the Ayurvedic Doctor program to further contribute to healing, education, and care in her community.
She eagerly anticipates leading groups on Ayurveda Healing Immersions in India and Bali in the near future.
Cecilia's foremost passion is to promote Ayurveda in her hometown of Oakland by offering consultations, therapies, healing programs, herbal formulations, workshops, and retreats.
